I think people pervasively underestimate podcasts, even with them being sort of the hot thing right now, because moderate engagement with a single podcast exceeds moderate engagement with a university course *very, very rapidly* for *both* sides of that transaction.

It would work great for the Open University type of institutions, where attendance is not the student’s main activity in life.

The course podcasts have been around for a while though? The education game changer I’m waiting for is effective mastery tracking. If we are using a non-signaling education model, it is insane how schools give a couple projects & tests on a subject without effective follow ups.
