You'll have an opportunity to meet yours truly and some engineers and engineering managers from Stripe. This is a casual chat between colleagues in the industry; you don't need to do any pre-work and we don't expect any particular commitments.

If you like what you hear and want to escalate from a casual conversation into more formal after the event, we're eager to support that. Stripe is hiring engineers continuously, including remotely.

Most that we'll hire in the next short while will be experienced with being an engineer working remotely and be in a timezone compatible with one of our engineering hubs in the US, but we're expanding all the time (including to Dublin and Singapore recently).

Will you do more of these? Following you now so I don't miss the next one
-
Almost certainly yes. Following me will work for that, and we'll work on getting a more obvious way for folks to stay in the loop about this sort of thing.

Obviously far lower priority for you professionally, but if you ever consider doing one of these that's to educate other leaders/teams on how to support remote eng, I'd signup and have people I work join for sure.

I really want us to contribute to the state of the art on this topic, as I think we've learned some things over the years on it. We'll likely write/etc more about it in the future.
