One of the (many) things to like about Bench is that it intentionally constrains the user's access to data entry to be, basically, "We'll let you send a text message to a bookkeeper, but all the data is read-only to you, because—let's be honest—you're bad at this and we are not."

Bookkeeping is in some ways a weird case, because even in those rare circumstances where I catch a bookkeeper's error, having me actually fix the error might threaten the integrity of the data more than the error itself does. The only software which legally isn't allowed Ctrl-Z.
