If you’re thinking of making videos & a newbie, here’s a tip to save you some research: Many professional vloggers just use the phone’s camera. Seriously, tech is advanced now! And you can upload directly to YouTube easily from the phone. You can go more fancy, but not necessary.

Also, pro-tip from somebody who got it from Wistia: if you do invest money, the highest bang for the buck is (counterintuitively!) lighting, not camera. After you’re well-lit, microphone, still not camera.
