Two unfortunate things about the startup community: 1) There is no business too small for commentators to say "That is beneath my notice and therefore I will not disparage it and confidently predict failure." 2) There is no business too large for commentators to stop doing #1.

It would be useful if a lot of startups didn't sell something that is at the end of very marginal value, unlike teachers, barbers, plumbers etc. It's incredibly hard from most startup pages to guess what they do and even if you can to find value

It sometimes mean that I'm missing something, but a lot of time it's really "let's make money on this tiny bit of ad space" which is a net loss for humanity, unlike teachers, barbers etc.
