“It’s complicated.” Credit card adoption continuing apace, there’s great interest in wallets but little adoption outside of the transit vertical (where they are huge), and strong push from gov’t/finance to decrease cash payments but a huge gap in the plan.

Almost like the 90s, where atms were only at bank locations and were closed after certain times at night. Iirc it was because the atms ran on the same EDI system that the banks used for interbank txfrs, but could be wrong....
