I’m often surprised when reading about startups that critics move to envisioning a world where the startup has won so totally that there is no alternative to their model, which is not what the victory case looks like.

It's a fantastic phrase! I like to think of Twitter as a "Yes, and" medium, which is consonant with overinvesting in good faith (this thread: https://twitter.com/michael_nielsen/status/975886151608295425 … ). But there's a limit, & I'm past it. There's good tech criticism, but I've found it hard to locate on Twitter

A lot of the criticism I see (and have given) is mostly towards those who call it innovative - when it’s a tried and tested model done in other countries. They executed well and deserve a congratulations.

Does not exist. A German IT Specialist apprenticeship is 3 years long, the study part is 1 ½ years long. LS is 7 months. Closest approximation is an A.S. CS but LS is ¼ the time. Or 1 year postgrad diploma conversion course. LS open to no degree people. New!
