Lambda School is rolling out our first supplemental stack - “Enterprise Backend with Java.” Available to all students, and employers can send future Lambda hires through Students pick up Java quickly (having built in Python, C, JS). Now they can ship Java day 1 on the job!

We will have other stacks available based on employer demand in the future. As an employer that means you can move from, “let’s find the perfect generalist and retrain them” to, “let’s partner with Lambda Schol to create the perfect engineer.”

It would be hilarious to me if you eventually started eating the training elephant not just on stacks but on all the proprietary stuff that companies have to skills transfer, for $50k an engineer or whatever charges to the company, on the theory:

“If you could truly have newly hired engineers be productive in less than six months you would be Lambda School but you’re not, so why do you keep running a bad bootcamp that you need to pay students to attend.”
