"Wait what?" It's been up seven years and gets about 500k hits a year; the typical person reporting results to me gets $15 ~ 25k; you can math it out from there. (A ridiculous portion, and I mean truly ridiculous portion, is getting people to to not accept the first offer.)

@tarsnap and decide to get a normal job, I'm going to ask you to negotiate my salary for me. ;-) -
I've sort of noodled on the idea of an agent that does stuff like this for engineers in the vein of how actors and athletes have agents. Not, like, a lot. But it would be interesting to determine why that's not practice we see.
