Sadly not getting a chance to really explore Singapore on this trip but my one impression from the car window is “Wow there are plants *everywhere* even amid super dense construction” and oh boy is it nice. It’s Tokyo amped to 11 on that score.
Interestingly, that is very not my subjective impression of Tokyo, but I think it heavily depends on where one goes.

I think it's just perspective. After living in Vancouver, *everywhere* feels like there aren't many trees. That photo looks very Vancouver, aside from being the wrong sort of trees and that we would have a natural creek.

I feel like Seattle similarly ruined me for this, and Vancouver is probably more-so
