I've mentioned that somebody should do this for a couple of years, but it looks like Tulsa went ahead and did it: https://tulsaremote.com/ It's very explicitly: "You, probably-tech-person, are well-monied and can work anywhere. Tulsa would be happy to have you; here's our bid."

It’s the George Kaiser foundation that is doing it. Same one that just gave Tulsa a $500 million (not a typo) park called the gathering place.

There are some truly remarkable things happening in Tulsa, and I’m quite proud to have been on the front end of the wave of people moving here to take advantage of it. If you ever happen this way I’d love to meet you and show you around.

There's pretty wide variance in how interesting foundation projects are. Quite a few with some very interesting projects. I also like the stipulation in terms and conditions that you have to go to 12+ of their community events

Ha, this reminds me of my friend
@MikeSchroll’s@WhyNotTheBeach a bit, for Myrtle Beach, SC. But with higher production value. -
Yeah my understanding is it’s a wealthy individual in Tulsa. Well done though. Got my attention the other day on hacker news.

There doesn't seem to be anything on that page clarifying that it's for Tulsa, Oklahoma and not Tulsa, Pakistan Be careful with what you sign up for ;)
