I think we as an industry celebrate (not quite the right word) failure too much and don't celebrate success nearly enough. There is no DailyWTF for competent execution, word of which generally stays pretty local to the source while incompetence passes into legend.

Windows 10 has made some great strides in making that more accessible. There was a learning curve but I got my local dev environments on Windows and Mac into nearly identical states. That's all the way to zsh and multiple git configs in probably an hour or two

Also possibly, depending on toolchain, if you're running Linux. (And the Linux subsystem on recent Windows may be good enough for quite a few projects.)

10 minutes? On macOS? More like 10 seconds. Traditional way: Terminal + Emacs/Vim + Ruby/Python all built into macOS. Alternative: Safari + Web Inspector.
