(As much as I appreciate the gesture, Internets, this is not a solicitation for photo sharing recommendations. I am aware it is easier if a computer professional does all the work or we control all endpoints involved, but that doesn’t solve wife’s problem.)

My mother demanded photos of
@stucchio and I as a couple to show to my family. It was impossible to find a way to get photos to them and also fulfill Chris's utility function. No good solution so far, multiple marital disputes and a shitty compromise. I feel ya. -
No lie, I think we underrate film, paper, and glue as a storage and transmission medium for photos. It’s the most reliable thing I have for similar purposes.

I can commiserate. My wife + daughter + mother + my brother's girlfriend have been having ongoing troubles with photos as well. They don't want to give the photos to Facebook or Google, and the only chat app they have in common is Slack (which sucks for photo sharing)
