Maybe a silly question - if I made a US entity for @hellowebbooks, how would I pay myself as an employee? Or would I need to be classified as a contractor? I’ve been struggling lately with what country to base my business in.
Few ways to do it; an owner of an LLC can have the income just "pass through" to them for tax purposes (and then physically move the cash out of the company into their pocket as a distribution). Slightly more complicated for C corps; most have a payroll. As always: ask a CPA.
This is what I was looking for! Ok. I'm diving in. (Wish me luck)
Yeah my withhold is 0% because I did the paperwork. They should “force” you through it when you setup, at least that’s what I remember happening.
