Don't you think it's slightly easier to take someone's hardware crypto wallet, force them to give up their PIN and then launder the money? Vs transferring millions of dollars from a traditional bank account through SWIFT and not get caught.

I think the concern is the nature and pseudonyimity of Bitcoin makes them a more appealing target. You'd have to get already rich people to buy Bitcoin to achieve the same outcome.
