Wow, "Nobody accidentally commits logistics." Not something I had thought of before but something to keep in mind. Both ways... Serious logistics means serious purpose. No logistics means (at best) amateur effort.

Although, a little bit of logistics can go a very long way, see: flash mobs, “silent dance parties”, etc. Now I really want to poke at the criteria for needing significant logistics. Something like “many people doing seemingly unrelated things towards related goals.”

I'd be more impressed by that, except i just ran across a youtube video about 'ed force one' - basically Iron Maiden tours on a chartered 747 with custom livery and piloted by the lead singer (!). Getting a commercial airline pilots license is whole 'nother level of commitment.
