Also a good demonstration that things which will in the future be massive and look obvious look neither massive nor obvious in the present, but still deliver outstanding, nearly unbelievable outcomes even in their embryonic state.

Sounds strange to say, but the "constant drumbeat of good news" has been...itching at me recently. It's perhaps the intrinsic nature of social media to make everything sound rosy. Would be interested in hearing about problems and issues as well. (People who don't find a job?)
