Which trend do you think is "just getting started now" but will be BIG in 5 years?

(It will be great; you'll be able to order Best American Breakfast 24 hours a day and it's irrelevant to you whether it is actually cooked in a diner that you're not physically at or is simply cooked in a clean kitchen by a team of short-order chefs responding to constant flow.)

Why will this take over the world when Dominos didn’t? Online delivery ordering is nice, but not 10x better than ordering by phone. Fresh cooked food doesn’t travel well in heated containers.

This already exists here in Uruguay. Online delivery is 10x better than by phone
@dfabu , it's asynchronous, it has discoverability, online reviews and ratings. And it's delivered heated since distances are less than a km. Same in Europe. Maybe not easy to replicate in the U.S.

I wonder about the next step in that direction, where the prep is distributed too (probably by meal, not within them.). This is the UberEats analog to Netflix doing its own content

Options for “authentic <whatever> food” become much wider and deeper
