Think you are missing the forest for the trees on this one. The "bullshit jobs" discourse would ponder whether we need hundreds of insurance companies, each with IT/billing/admin departments, who themselves spawn countless non-doctor jobs in system merely to interface with them.

As a tech person I get upset when I see unnecessary bureaucracy claptrap. Then as a rational person I calm down once I understand the need for it. Finally as a business person I wonder if there’s a way to profit from it.
