I rather enjoy the game (which is a great team bonding activity if you don't end up wanting to kill each other) but it's the opposite of meditative.

Competitive mode is seemingly designed to destroy family bonds. My eldest looked aghast when she realised that I'd been serruptiously stealing her plates so she couldn't serve anything.

I'm absolutely loving Overcooked 2. It's a hell of a lot crazier than the first one, which is good I suppose. It also lacks the day 1 bugs the first had and the online play is great too. Though, does still have performance issues in handheld mode on the Switch. :(

I also really enjoyed the Overcooked 2. You might also want to check out Good Job!'s co-op. It lacks the flow state inducing zen of Overcooked but it has plenty of "Ah it's the world's worst warehouse design" moments.https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/good-job-switch/ …
