Interesting approach. I like gifs over e.g. a video embed. As total package: a) Hiring manager hat: would not feel the need to FizzBuzz this candidate b) Recruiter hat: would feel awkward about perceived professionalism if I were referring this candidate to many opportunities.

The reporting-not-endorsing version of things which would make it easy for a hiring manager to say No: * "software engineer hobbyist" * "building games with C# and unity or [anything]" not the best candidate when I care about a small subset of anything * "Product sense"

If (as if in a previous life) I were working with the candidate I'd probably do a copy pass, fix usage niggles like "please go to my Contact page" (hyperlinks + copy edits), and potentially reorder demo real to deemphasize salon web pages.

Explanation of last tweet for folks who will find it useful: there are a lot of web developers whose bread-and-butter is creating relatively uncomplicated websites for SMBs. Many high-status engineering employers pattern match on that and immediately remove from pool.

This is silly, because a great many engineers who have skillsets adequate to the problems of high-status engineering employers have (at one point or another) created SMB websites, but because the class system is a real phenomenon, I would suggest folks position appropriately.
