It's a tiny little thing but I love it: There are some sales reps who, when you say "I am too busy to even think about this right now; can you ping me in 3 months" will actually write you in three months. Every time it happens I want to give them a call on general principles.

True. I do the same. Also to check their company is still around in 3 months. 6 months to 1 year in with 2 or 3 follow-ups, their Sales person has built enough trust with me that I will listen to their story.
