I mean that entirely literally. Economist, BBC, and the Guardian all published Craig Wright’a claim to be Satoshi. They were disastrously wrong. They didn’t retract, though somebody did publish a follow up saying “this page on Github” had posted the requisite unit test.

Or, towards the more core political issues here: you have to be willing to let some $10 an hour content rater read a blog post from Little Green Footballs and then *take Dan Rather and CBC offline until they stop lying*. The blog was literally named after snot. It scooped CBC.

This feels like a very “Be careful what you wish for!” power to give AppAmaGooFaceSoft. (Side note: I feel like “Power will always be wielded by my friends, against my enemies” is a very quixotic read of recent history.)
