Twitter unfailingly gives me a timeline of 20% posts I want to see and 80% posts that I do not, and the cynic in me says that there has been a meeting about this, and the meeting might not have explicitly said "Triggering a stress response increases engagement numbers" but, well.

control over one's timeline is terrible. there are people i want to follow but they tweet too much and it drowns out higher priorities. if i could set a slider and see e.g. 20% or 50% of a person's tweets, i would follow way more people.

My personal apologies. It's been a little stressful and I feel like I've been venting on to everyone's timeline. Maybe I should just go back to blogging.

Try adding words to the mute list? I’ve found consistently doing that over just a few days has worked wonders. Related: mute people who retweet in outrage.
