Every so often I’ll just report a credit card lost/stolen and only replace the billing info of the stuff I really need. One click to cancel all recurring payments.

I feel like I'm professionally obligated to mention: 1) This will not actually stop all recurring payments because your bank may have business relationships where they tell a party in the value chain your new number to save you the trouble of re-entering it. 2) Contracts.

While some businesses make the decision to unilaterally terminate a business relationship for non-payment and then write off the uncollected invoices, this is not the only thing which contract law supports. You might, for example, be obligated to give notice.

Some businesses are *very aggressive* about collecting invoices which they issued prior to you giving notice, including e.g. sending them to a collections agency, dinging your credit, etc etc. (There exist gym brands notorious for this, among others.)
