    NOT a recreation, but an original concept painting I did (1of 7) based on Eastwood & ad agency’s hiring me to visualize ideas. Art director then reworked photos/colors to emulate the painting. Unforgiven is a brilliant film. Best part was Clint’s name for me:“That Polish Guy”

    recreating the poster for is my new favorite thing.

    You know, notoriously they claim Takahashi ripped off Eva for Xenogears when he hadn’t seen it yet, and yet nobody ever says that about the post-Eva games where Elma/KosMos and Alvis/chaos are Rei and Kaworu from EoE specifically

    I think if young shinji had the chance to meet young asuka in NERV facility, maybe he had the chance to meet kaworu but he just didn't remember it? Since Kaworu was found in an egg and been brought to seele after all?

    What's been lost in translation here with the term "imbecile" is that Barbas' disdain for High Priest Sardian stems from his age and inexperience. Sardian was intended to be a young adult, somewhere in his 20's so it's unfortunate the only detail as to what he is like is gone.

    DC telling Alan Moore not to use the Charlton characters so they could keep them around and have Watchmen be its own thing, only to make Watchmen part of their universe to keep the rights from lapsing is a good encapsulation of why Alan Moore is right about the comics industry
