The church of “I believe but I hate organized religion” never built a senior center, helped feed kids in summer, offered free English classes. Community does this. Church is community.
Go to church today. The community needs you. Yes, that bunch of deeply flawed, all-too-narrow, sometimes judgmental, frequently petty people. They need you and you need them. Together, you will find “a more excellent way.”
