TX calls its suit one against 4 States, but it’s really a suit claiming injuries to TX citizens from supposed maladministration by executive and judicial officers of those 4 States. Louisiana v. Texas (1900) made clear that such suits cannot be filed in SCOTUS. Period. Case over.
True but also on so many other points. I would hope that SCOTUS declines to hear it but with a unanimous excoriation of those who filed it and those who signed the amicus brief.
