YouTube really needs to revise their copyright system. They let the claimer decide if they're right and barely give any say to the creators. And the claimers don't need to own the copyright to claim a video. @TeamYouTube please make some revisions to your copyright system
It is. I can go to http://youtube.com , make a new YouTube account, click on any video, and claim it just because I feel like it: not because somebody is violating a copyright that I may or may not own. Something that might help the system is if claimers had to provide proof
I don't understand why they would manually review claim disputes but not manually review claims in the first place.
Even if they did, the system wouldn't work. YouTube's "manual review" system is terrible. Did you hear about @ThisIsTheFatRat 's ordeal? After "manual review" his channel was suspended due to Community Guidelines violations.
He wasn't violating any Community Guidelines
If YouTube is going to put claims under manual review, then their manual review system needs revisions
