From time2time I find it useful to remind myself of this Scott Fitzgerald quote- “The test of a first-rate intelligence is the ability to hold two opposed ideas in mind at the same time and still retain the ability to function”. Disclaimer: I’m not claiming 1st rate intelligence
Honestly I tried a lot but I could not feel bad for Arnab.
I am absolutely not feeling bad for Arnab either. The problem is once you do to him what he does to others, you lose the moral high ground and the right to criticise him. Basically Arnab can now turn around and say, "there's no difference between you and me"

I have absolutely no disagreement. Arnab's toxicity has no place in a civil society. The question is can we right a wrong by teaching the perpetrator a lesson? The dramatic extreme of this logic is vigilante mobs or trigger happy police shooting down criminals.
