DOJ has defined 5 reasons for incarceration: deterrence, incapacitation, rehabilitation, retribution & restitution. Democracy fails without accountability.

DOJ Pretext Bot’s Tweets

As the DOJ Pretext Bot, my job is to find all the never-before-used pretexts the DOJ (and DOJ apologists) give as to why DOJ can never indict Trump, nor his senior cronies. 1st: DOJ can never prosecute Trump because Sen Ted Stevens had his conviction overturned 13 years ago.

On the CAFE Insider docket this week: DOJ is reportedly investigating Trump for Jan 6, and there are more missing Jan 6 texts. @PreetBharara and @JoyceWhiteVance discuss. Listen to a free sample: bit.ly/3OTZAYu

Every time I hear a DOJ apologist talk about justice, I think of cases like this. When I hear Wray say they can’t read social media to find violent white supremacists, I think of cases like this. In the end, they WILL kill this man and then suffer no accountability.

During one of several traffic stops in a single month, an OKC cop told Air Force vet Saadiq Long he was being pulled over because he's on a terror watchlist. Long filmed the traffic stops. Watch the videos here: theintercept.com/2023/01/26/ter
Garland’s Latin motto: delictis ante feloniis. I need to figure out his coat of arms - perhaps Garland with one hand beating the poor down into the dark, and the other hand lifting Trump aloft, into the light?
Things that you won’t see on CNN.

Israeli occupation forces shot and killed four Palestinians, including an elderly woman, in less than five hours during a brutal military raid into the Jenin refugee camp, today.

Of all the Reputation Redemption Tours in the age of Trump, none have been greater than Preet Bharara. I remember the early days of Preet’s podcasts, where he implied that he had been on the verge of taking Trump down. No reporter or podcaster ever challenge him on 2016.

Just a reminder, the most senior law enforcement officer in NY, overseeing the NY FBI Field Office, was none other than liberal hero of the Resistance and biggest mass incarcerator of minorities in US history, . Shockingly - Preet hasn’t mentioned McGonigal.

In April 2016, I broke the story of Trump and Putin, using Russian open sources. Afterwards, I heard vague intimations that something was awry in the FBI in New York, specifically counter-intelligence and cyber. We now have a suggestion as to why. 0/20

We need to start measuring US internal refugees caused by GOP policies.

The "Don't Say Gay" law is working as intended. Demean the dignity of LGBTQ people and erase them from public life. It was always meant to push out LGBTQ Floridians. DeSantis sent a clear message that he doesn't want LGBTQ people in Florida. nydailynews.com/news/national/

You’re 23 times more likely to be prosecuted for benefit fraud than tax crimes, even though tax fraud and error costs an estimated £20bn a year, compared to £2.2bn for benefit fraud and error. via h/t

It’s wild how the usual DOJ apologists have COMPLETELY ignored the McGonigal story. Just wild. Their silence matches Garland’s silence when they allowed the Mueller indictments to expire, or when Berman exposed DEEP DOJ corruption.

Once upon a time, this was the norm, not the asshole. But we, as a society, have evolved from that time. But, there are people who would take us back to this. Those people use words like “CRT”, “groomer”, and “woke”. They complain about “Cancel Culture”. Don’t let them win.

Yes, mate, you are definitely the fucking arsehole …

Where are all the emergency DOJ-apologist podcasts? Come on guys, there are a LOT of people being critical of DOJ & the FBI! You have to throw yourselves in front of this criticism! Explain that it was ONLY one guy at the NY FBI Field Office, and everyone ELSE is still a hero!

Fun fact: fungi are more closely related to animals than plants. They are, in fact, neither plant nor animal, but a separate branch of life. My point is: should vegans and vegetarians eat “them”?

Honestly, I’m genuinely surprised that DOJ is holding any former DOJ official even mildly legally accountable.

No gun control laws the Dems are suggesting will “work”. Not a marginal increase in background checks. Not closing the private sale or show loopholes. The ONLY thing that has been proven to work around the world is abolition. twitter.com/parrhizzia/sta

Conservatives are already attempting to use the Monterey Park shooting to argue that gun control laws don’t work. California has the *lowest* number of mass shootings in the Nation. Gun control laws work - and we need to continue to pass laws that keep guns off our streets.

Every so often I remember that Preet Bharara only prosecuted one bankster after the GFC crash: a foreign, brown Muslim. Every single white bankster he let off without charge.
2
I count at least 12 cops in the foreground & background, and a van across the street. If this was to just find a suspect, they could have stayed in their vans, filming from inside. This was to intimidate the patrons, to reinforce that for them, this is a surveillance state.

What happened to Matt Gaetz’s arrest? What happened to G. Clooney’s documentary on Jim Jordan? What happened to Trump’s arrest? Mueller was not on your side. Merrick Garland is not on your side. Jack Smith will not be on your side. Stop saying it takes time. Stop gaslighting us.

Those that are telling you that Jack Smith will save us, are the same people that told you that Merrick Garland would save us, are the same people that told you that Robert Mueller would save us. They keep telling you to “be patient”, while making money off of your “patience”.

If Biden illegally removed classified docs while a Senator & VP, he should resign, and allow himself to be prosecuted. Or, cancel the OLC memo, and be prosecuted in office. Or, be prosecuted the moment he leaves office. BUT Trump should have been prosecuted 2 YEARS AGO.

Just a reminder, because of his proximity to, and knowledge of both Trump and DeSantis, their legal immunity covers Gaetz. Under no circumstances will Gaetz ever be brought to account.

BREAKING: Two staffers in Matt Gaetz' office say they have evidence that the sex trafficking allegations are true, and that the disgraced congressman's behavior is much worse than publicly known. This comes as Gaetz makes moves to run for governor. More to come..
