My sister in law lost her husband (6yrs ago) and has four kids under 15. She works two min wage jobs, the child tax benefit allows her to always have food and rent a 3 bedroom house. Without it life would be a lot different for them. It really has changed peoples lives.

This is a straight lie... The communities that are still suffering from serious Poverty still are..there's still children that don't even have clean drinking water. The governments of the last 20 years have done nothing at all to improve the quality of life of Canadians

Stats Can is a Govt agency, they had to be given the task by Govt to carry out the study.
