From an exchange devops point of view, #bitcoin
is the only blockchain node that never have problems.
All the others (that have a meaningful usage) have issues at least once per month...

Real question because this was a problem faced very often by exchanges in 2017-2019 when running it at scale.. You had to bother tech guys when your tx didn't get a tx hash in a timely manner .
Main tricky part with geth (eth in general) is ensuring nonce and gas logic is perfect (as well as the peering, to make sure the txs don't get lost).
