From an exchange devops point of view, #bitcoin
is the only blockchain node that never have problems.
All the others (that have a meaningful usage) have issues at least once per month...

Web is made by multiple layers, so each one is simple as fairly easy to maintain. Imagine to build a web browser that also runs the Linux kernel and has drivers for all devices... you would never do that...

Of course, modularity is good, but the point is if you want a web 2.0 site you are forced to combine more stuff into a more complex arrangement that will be harder to maintain That's just how it is. We cannot have our cake and eat it

I run both an LN node and Bitcoin node on a raspberry pi and have no issues. Layers != modules
