To the (few) people arguing "Muh centralized"...
#crypto is made by people.
Tether is a centralized stablecoin using decentralized transport layers.
So if we can help but we decide to not protect each other in the difficult times what are we even doing here?

-
Do you mind writing out more detail on Tether's strict policies regarding freezing funds, working with authorities, and at what points Tether takes action vs not take action?
-
Not only the policies regarding authorities. What if there's a "hack" where it's unclear whether the funds are stolen or not, or owned by the true owner... How will Tether respond?

Just as most banks do. I hate when people say oh ban crypto. 95% of it is for good legitimate causes. That's like trying to say ban cash....an banks are always cooperating w law enforcement and regualtors as well. Nothing to be surprised of.
