So Tether is under investigation again, as if that's new.
But here's what I don't get: this sort of news causes some to sell BTC for USDT.
Let me get this straight: you see that a token might be involved in something scammy, and your first reaction is to get more of it?

But why is tether high profile. Everything we see movements in wallets. Usdt or btc to (dump) or (pump) wallets there is a movement in price. Print new stablecoins and whitin 48H a pump. Or move btc to the (dump) wallets we see a dump.

Tether news held or even pumped a tiny bit I wouldn't say the "amazon news" dumped it either, people just needed a reason for the dump. BTC hit resistance for the past 2 months, news came out perfectly timed and dumped It dumped hard when Tesla earnings came out. Weirdly enough

Can you say when Tether received the "letters" mentioned by Bloomberg relating to the investigation? Not clear that this was recent but they obviously want us to *think* that this is 'new news'.

Yes, I was referring to the slight drop (also baseless, hence "as if that's new") before the one about the Amazon news/inevitable end of short squeeze. The point was that even if the news were substantial, selling BTC seemed like a funny reaction to it, so I had to make the joke
