This right here. The fact that the guy who is the #1 candidate for being Satoshi (which may or may not be true I don’t know) vigorously defends Tether and refuses to even acknowledge the findings in the NYAG settlement shows how deep this cartel runs. Tragic.https://twitter.com/bitcoinlawyer/status/1416071318768869382 …

I don’t understand why USDC seems to get a free pass. Jeremy Allaire declared that they were “better” than Tether but now refuses to provide any additional transparency until they go public…pic.twitter.com/Hh8DauVpNo

Tether is at least twice as big so it is held to an higher standard than any of the smaller competitors. We'll keep improving our side. We disclosed already the ratings of the commercial papers (which are A-2 and above)https://stuarthoegner.medium.com/tether-is-setting-a-new-standard-for-transparency-and-responding-to-criticism-that-is-fc130e08319b …

Not scolding,
@paoloardoino. To clarify: It is one of our NYAG settlement obligations to make the reserves public, but we proposed that that be included in the settlement. The attestations go beyond anything in the settlement. We are doing those on our own initiative. -
Thanks Stu. Happy to be scoleded when I'm not correct. I was thinking to the fact that we proposed to show our commitment. But it's important to make it clear.
