UPDATE Bitfinex datafeed connection rewritten. We had to ditch their official Go library since it's still unstable. We keep monitoring the data just in case some of the corner cases weren't covered...

Is it still an issue after today's update?
Hey! Sorry for late reply. Check `pair_split` https://github.com/bitfinexcom/lib-js-util-symbol/blob/master/index.js#L19 … tldr: historically finex only supported 6 letters pairs. In order to maintain compatibility we introduced the `:` only for pairs longer than 6 chars.
