Couple Silicon Valley "VCs" lately (most are great luckily) being like "how dare people outside of the valley have popular ideas that we don't understand and not even our money. How dare they not needing 100 investment rounds???? Must be a scam!". Good luck with this attitude.

Pretty sure this has been SVs take since crypto started (save a few VCs). I think a lot of it has been about dissuading engineers from crossing over.
