Funny how on-chain stats are the opposite of LN stats
I think our UX for withdrawing LN could be better to facilitate the process.

From a user perspective here: The UX is okay. I think one the issue may be the way LN is design. To withdraw you already need (for a non-custodial wallet) to have channels open towards you, so not really practical.

A way to withdraw in which Bitfinex create a channel towards the user's node and push the withdraw amount to the user's side of the channel could push for more LN withdraw

Do an email verification when you move from BTC to LN BTC and do the actual LN withdraw immediately. This will make the UX smooth

The idea that an instant payment protocol where you usually spend less than $100 takes 3-4 minutes is preposterous. Make it frictionless
