      We have ~10M in BTC across the 2 nodes. We don't run LN for fees, just to provide a better UX to our users when depositing/withdrawing BTC

      It's like having 150 BTC sitting in the bitcoin hot wallet, waiting for withdrawals. At least we go 230k SATs!

      Don‘t you lose more in L1 fees than gain in LN fees if you reuse the LN wallet as a L1 hot wallet?

      L1 wallet is separate. I just meant that on our L1 hot wallet we keep ~500/1000 BTC (1% of our total BTC liabilities). L1 fees are charged back to the end user, while LN would be free for our users and almost no cost for us. Probably server cost > routing fees atm.
