most exchange engineering seems to be altcoin integrations. Even coaxing them into basic maintaining their bitcoin integration is a multi-year user grumbling exercise. But they can email you about multiple alt listings and quiet delistings as they roll off, per week.
Indeed, you can see that from Segwit/Bech32 addresses adoption. Pretty easy, still far from being a priority for many.
