@paoloardoino tried to ape into a leveraged perp. position after depositing with Lightning, but got error message saying I can't fund my margin account with LN-BTC. Why differentiate LN-BTC vs. BTC?

Go on /wallets and convert LN-BTC into BTC. If you want to ape on BTCUSD with BTC as collateral you can ape on margin. On perps BTC can be used only on ETH/BTC-PERP and similar. Margin on BTCUSD(t) supports up to 10x.

Also I agree that our UX around LN should be improved. Working on it

Thanks! Would be nice with confirmation when I pay LN invoice (saw the small one down in the corner, should remove QR code/give big pop-up). Also, minor thing: QR code should be rendered with 'lightning:' prefix, so phone camera detects and opens correct app.

More of a general Q: why differentiate different kinds of BTC? Liquid, LN, base all interoperable

It's mainly for accounting reasons. It helps us to know when and how much peg-ib (for liquid) or manage our channel sizes for LN. But it should all seemless to the user. We'll improve it

Ah, makes sense. Thanks for doing a great LN integration, looking forward to seeing it improve over time:-) One more thing: when LNURL withdrawal?
