How are banks going to integrate with Tether?
I don't think banks will be using an existing stablecoins. They would use something they can own completely. Likely they will create their own Tether.

imo you'll see Crypto-style stablecoins of CDBC stablecoins if regulations don't outright disallow it, but even in that case there will be indexes etc. So gov't stablecoin->crypto exchange (as "cash" deposit)->convert to usdt (should be near 1:1)->crypto world
