Mmmm no mate, they used to be duly backed by Fiat then they changed to fully backed by a basket of ‘currencies’ incl BTC. Probably why they print USDT as the BTC price rises or falls to prop up their ‘backing’ Tether is a shit show waiting to take centre stage.
