I run a full node for btc and I don’t get anything for it. But that isn’t why I do it. I also never mention it. For every good node like mine on the network, it will take an additional “bad node” to successfully do a 51% attack. (Or 33% or whatever) Those of us that.... 1/n

2/n ...aren’t miners run nodes because we believe in btc and we want to provide more security for the network. We don’t do it because of profit or notoriety or anything frivolous like that. We are the invisible backbone of the bitcoin network and most people don’t even....
