Do you just block them and move on with your life? That's what I've been doing for months. It seems to maintain sanity.
I don't block most of them by default. Mainly ignore them until they become too spammy.

Tether is dodgy though in my personal opinion..If I want to cash out of crypto I can just transfer it to actual cash. Or some PAX Gold ( the only gold token redeem for LBMA-gold delivered. I'm pessimistic and I believe that if tether isn't fully backed. Its an unneccesary risk.
