Aren't there always the same amount of shorts as longs at any given time, since each trade requires a counterparty? Or can you explain how you calculate these longs vs shorts numbers?
This is not a perp / future. This is margin trading in spot markets

What you are saying doesn’t make any sense. Trading is a zero-sum game. When somebody goes long somebody else must go short. That holds true for the spot-market also. Are you saying that longs trade with more leverage than shorts? Effectively long short USD value needs to equal
