True, but I also think that there's a huge difference between 10m and 7. If you can get to 10m then you can get a TON more infrastructure up which is fast,
Indeed there is a huge difference.
My point is just that if a L1 is super-successful eventually will saturate so I would be preemptive building a L2.

Oh yeah totally agree with that :) Similarly I think sharding can be super cool but that it's way worse than not sharding controlling for tps, so you want to take the fastest things and shard those.
