Few hours ago we noticed that few customers were affected by a balance issue.
We decided, for the safety of all @bitfinex customers, to take down the platform, investigate, fix and restore the service.

(sorry but this overall space still lacks a little trust) Had u tweeted about temporarily taking down the platform prior to doing it, it would have kept the account holders relatively more relaxed than keeping them hunting for insights for hours
